Over the past few weeks, I have been posting pictures and
little “tid bits” about White House Chicken, wanting to let everyone see the
progress of the shop. But, as we are getting closer and closer to the grand
opening, I wanted to take this opportunity to officially introduce myself to
all of you chicken lovers out there. My name is Randy Osborne and I am 45 years
old. I have lived in Medina for roughly 15 years with my wife and 4 children.
My journey to opening a restaurant has been very interesting
with lots of twists and turns along the way. I grew up in Orrville and started
working in the restaurant business when I was 16 years old. I have worked in
all areas of the food industry, from fast food all the way to fine dining. I
have 2 passions in my life. One of them is the food business and working with
the public. The other one is running. I spend about 20 hours a week running
thru the streets of Medina with my friends. We average about 60-80 miles a week
and you can find us out there on any given day, as early as 5 AM!
For the past 5 years, I owned a running store in Strongsville
called Active Runner. I built that shop from the ground up with no help from a
partner or corporation. The shop was very successful and I recently sold it to
pursue my lifelong goal of being an owner/operator of my own
restaurant. I can honestly say that the reason Active Runner was such a success
was my passion and dedication to my loyal customers and the community I served
with integrity and love. I am fiercely loyal to my customers and will do
absolutely anything to please you. I believe it is the personal touch that
keeps you coming back. I can guarantee that you will see my smiling face at
White House daily and you will always feel welcome when you walk through the
door. I will get to know your names and personally greet everyone upon arrival.
My cell number is available on this page and will also be posted in the shop. I
can be reached anytime by phone with any questions or concerns.
As a small business owner, I truly believe that taking
special care of every customer is the key to success. It is about more than
money to me. My wife and I started this business as a way to give a little back
to the community while providing a good life for our family. We will make
weekly donations to our local food banks as well as get involved with community
events. My wife’s name is Carey Osborne and she is the brains and beauty of the
shop, I am the brawn. Plan on seeing both of us there daily. I am definitely a
The shop is
approximately 10 or so days away from opening! Our staff is in training to
ensure we deliver a perfect product to you when you come in! We are getting
more and more excited for you all to experience White House Chicken. I truly
cannot wait to meet everyone. Think of me as the “Running Chicken Man!” I drive
a bright orange truck. When you see me driving around this great town of
Medina, make sure you honk and give me a wave!
